Where the Ladies at? Red Bull has 'em.

The Red Bull Skiing Team’s talent pool just got deeper with some much needed female representation. We’d like to welcome Grete Eliassen (photo above) and Angeli VanLaanen (photo below) to the Red Bull roster. “ We’re super stoked to have these ladies on board,” Jamie Simon, Red Bull Climate Sports Manager, said. “Grete has been around for a few years killing it and Angeli is about to break on the scene big time. The best part is both have a great attitude and are stoked to do some cool stuff with Red Bull.”

Grete Eliassen is a competition veteran with multiple podiums including 2 gold and 1 silver medal in Winter X Games SuperPipe. She films regularly every season and most recently appeared in Poorboys Productions latest movie, “Yeah Dude.” Right now she’s in Aspen focusing on a third gold medal in X Games SuperPipe.

Angeli VanLaanen is a relative newcomer to the scene, although she holds some impressive finishes from last season, including 1st place in halfpipe and 2nd in slopestyle at the 2007 New Zealand Freeski Open and a bronze medal in SuperPipe at the US Open. Look for good things from her this season, she’s also in Aspen and ready to charge for the Podium in X Games SuperPipe tomorrow.
