About Jon: The perfect illustration of the level of Jon Olsson’s ski superstardom is his “ski car.” Where most pros are rolling in a full-size pickup, the most practical ride in Jon’s collection is a Lamborghini Gallardo—Hey, it’s got all-wheel drive and a ski box, okay? He got it from the Lambo dealer in Monaco: his home and base for jet-setting all over the globe. You want more? Jon’s hobby is racing his fleet of Le Mans style rally cars that go faster than your uncle’s Mustang.

Jon’s lavish lifestyle is earned by the raw talent, professionalism, and dedication-bordering-on-obsession he displays on the ski hill. Countless hours of training have put Jon on top of podiums at the X Games, US Open, Red Bull Big Air, Scandinavian Big Mountain Championships, and the World Superpipe Championships. He kicked off the 07/08 season by winning the Icer Air in San Francisco with a kangaroo flip: one of the signature double-flipping maneuvers he’s progressing the sport of skiing with.

Jon’s plate is full up with skiing this winter. In addition to all the usual comps, he’s racing GS on the world cup circuit, co-hosting the North American Open with Red Bull teammate Simon Dumont, and hosting a unique competition and film shoot, the Jon Olsson Super Session, in Sweden this spring. Plus he is really, really ridiculously good looking!

It must be Winter X Games time, Swedish sensation, Jon Olsson heads back to Aspen for a little taste of American cuisine and hopefully a little gold as well. No doubt Jon has been enjoying his season around the globe but it will be great to get the whole team together at Winter X!
